This song was used in my now deleted YouTube account. There is a whole separate drama involving that YouTube account and the discord account I used to have, which is a shame because I actually enjoyed discord. I won’t go into detail. This song is an ear worm. It got stuck in my head for months after I released it and the beat I created at 0:28 continues to influence my music. Other than that though, not too much to note.

This is the evolution of my love for 3/4 time. Missouri started it and this continued it. That’s literally the most notable thing about this song I can think of. It didn’t matter in the grand scheme of things, and if I had the option to, I would totally retake this account instead of being forced into a new one, my current one, due to circumstances beyond my control. But it’s a pretty original and decent song
Edit: nah I like my current account more, here in April 2021 I didn’t know how successful I’d be with my current account back then

With this and Missouri began my modern style of music. Simple songs in concept but a lot of artistic thought beneath the surface, similar to my favorite types of books. But yeah this song had hardly any deeper meaning, besides telling the story of winning a Kahoot game.

Ok this song, this song.

The last song I ever released until Missouri 1 on my albin3825 account back in July. This is a weird one. Coming off the back of a great song for the time in my career, this is what I make. I wanted to link it to a school shooting but that never happened. In fact, I was actually proud of it for a while because the melodies and harmonies took me so long to make. At the time, I thought that after the success of takeover all my future songs would do just as well. Clearly, that didn’t happen. This got like 17 listens in 3 weeks. As a result, I changed all my descriptions to being depressing, saying I wanted to start again after this account went down the drain, or so I thought at the time. I did eventually start again, but not before I lost the login info and the email connected to this account, meaning I was screwed and couldn’t get it back. So, this song is the lasting remains of a once great empire of dustifiedGD.
But yeah the song itself is ok. Could use a little more instruments variety but it tells a decent story.

The other contender for my best song, besides street party, is this. The original description said that I was not proud of this since I didn’t think it was true, real dubstep; yes this is a follow-up to the canonblade remix. However, one very famous GD artist, who made silent hill dubstep remix, decided to show up out of nowhere and review my song, saying it was pretty good. You’d think this would inspire me to create more dubstep, but in fact, a certain lunar abyss remix was taking up too much of my brain for me to take his review into full consideration. It’s a shame, really; this song is IMO my best but you may disagree. But yeah this was the peak of this account.

Edit: I come back to this after releasing South Dakota, and I notice just how much I’ve improved over the past four years. This has so many issues that I can’t even begin to describe, and hearing them rectified in my most recent track is truly something to behold.

Edit: I come back to this after releasing Zenith, and it’s truly incredible how much I’ve improved since the last edit (beginning of 2023). Hearing the many issues in South Dakota rectified is truly something to behold.

Coming off the back of my best/2nd best song at that point, this is what I release. A bad remake of canon. The ending weird sounds in the background was actually the reverse of the violin sound. It’s bad. I know that. I’m surprised I didn’t just delete it from the servers. I made it in a rush, and it shows.

Aight, here is arguably one of two contenders for my best song on this account.
The massive leap in quality from this and the previous song astounds me to this day. The melodies are structured really well, the song is structured well given that the original song was a loop, the instruments with the major exception of that flute in the second half (not my fault, fl mobile has a bad flute sound), are honestly really good. This is the song where I truly learned how to mix better: after this, I would use automation, filters, EQ, and more to make each instrument stand out in its own way. I really do like this song, and the outro.

There is a very interesting story behind this song.

It was first released as “10” because at the time it was my 10th song. Now, in between the funky family and wistfuljiffy 2, there existed a missing song: lunar abyss dustified remix. This was and still is the most popular song I’ve ever released, getting around 500 listens by the time I removed it from the site. The reason I did this was because it was just getting so much hate, hate it really didn’t deserve despite being a terrible song, and permanently destroyed my motivation to publish music on GarageBand and knowing I needed something better. It was the ultimate death of my more traditional style; where mixing and effects are used to make the music instead of the instruments, structure, or melody. As I mentioned, the song was called 10, but when I removed the lunar abyss remix it wasn’t the 10th song anymore. I couldn’t come up with a replacement name, so just cropped in the thumbnail (it was originally 10 in firework trails) and called it random song. This is where we are today.
The song’s history is way more interesting than the song itself; it’s decent but kinda bad at the same time.
Edit: lunar abyss dustified remix is now live! Go check it out and see just why I removed it in the first place.

A stepping stone in the evolution of my modern style of music. It isn’t very good, as it’s too simple, but at least I learned automation. It could use some level changes, panning, etc. Also, there are only 2 instruments which is a pretty major problem. Beat is boring. The final part before the outro was actually inspired by the progression of the Killbot drop believe it or not. But yeah, important but not important.

Terrible. “Melodies are very nice” isn’t an excuse, reviewer, because these melodies aren’t mine. They’re canonblade’s. The drop is so weird; this is my first song of many made on FL studio mobile, the program I use today, instead of GarbageBand. Whoops, I forgot to put reverb and use Param EQ on every single instrument. Whoops, my basses in the drop, since this was meant to be a dubstep song, I spammed all the effects I could and it sounds awful. Whoops, forgot to make a good outro. It’s all just... bad.
