Well, currently Mexican music is very influenced by Spain, given after the invasion.
So it usually looks like Europe haha
But it would be great to hear something Mexican

Yeah I heard the Spanish were absolutely awful colonial rulers that exploited the land without any regard for the local economy and society, leading to mass death and two centuries of political turmoil (1800s and even 1900s to an extent). I didn’t want that song to bring reminders of that by sounding and referring to the Spanish since I didn’t want to bring bad vibes, so that is another reason I chose to rename it.
